Nikki began her career in 2006 as a criminal defense attorney. She went on to add family law, estate planning, and dependency work to her practice. In 2011, Nikki entered the world of municipal law practice as a contract prosecutor. Prior to joining Weed, Graafstra and Associates, Nikki served the City of Oak Harbor as the City Attorney. She has broad experience in all areas of municipal law, including contract review, ordinance drafting, labor relations and personnel, public works bidding and purchasing, real estate transactions, open public meetings and public records, code enforcement, and land use matters. As the firm’s newest member, Nikki is looking forward to being of service to a new clients!
