Experience & Practice Area.
Grant is the principal shareholder in the firm. Grant’s practice focuses on all areas of municipal law, including land use, open public meetings, public records, public works contracting, utilities, public real estate acquisitions, risk management and employment. Grant has focused his entire career on the practice of municipal law, beginning as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Everett in 1980. Grant currently serves as City Attorney for the cities of Snohomish, Stanwood and Coupeville and general counsel for Snohomish Health District and Olympic View Water and Sewer District. He also serves as special counsel for numerous other Washington cities and for the Washington Cities Insurance Authority.
